The Modern Lovers

Talk about being ahead of the curve...

At the dawn of the seventies Jonathan Richman and company helped lay the groundwork for punk, new wave, and alternative music. The original lineup of The Modern Lovers yielded the talents of Jerry Harrison (keys) and David Robinson (drums), both whom would find future success in Talking Heads and The Cars, respectively.
