Dream a little dream

I had a dream last night that I was working with Mythbusters Tori, Kari, and Grant on making a sled out of a flat piece of cardboard. Tori and I decided to cut the cardboard into strips and glue them together with one strip overlapping the other to make the sled more durable. Our idea failed during assembly, and Grant was giving Tori grief about the snafu. With nothing to do, I gave Kari a ride to the convenience store so she could buy cigarettes for a myth... which was never explained.

Mullethouse Manor

Had a bit of a rude awakening yesterday morning (thanks, Carey! In fairness though, I don't believe it was her fault... ). She noticed that our driveway and the entire grounds around the north side of our house was flooded. The pipe that runs from our well to the well pump had broke at a joint (which was apparently jimmy-rigged together by the redneck thugs who occupied our home before deciding to take a long holiday in Huntsville), turning the yard into a quagmire. Took off early from work to meet the plumber. Luckily it was a relatively easy fix, but still cost $400. Ouch!

Damn the Jerries! Now what?

On the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month in 1918, the First World War officially ended. Luckily, due to being quite underage at the time, I wasn't called up for duty.

Twiddling knobs

Minds out of the gutter, please. Well, I did set you up for that. Probably. Or not. Eh, forget it...

I'll be joining local freestylers PFFFFT! on stage at The Fairmount on November 16. No cover. Come out, why don't ya?

End of one chapter

The Fellow Americans are no more. The new album has become a coda for the group, and in my opinion a good representation of what the band was. My focus now will be on my project, which was mothballed a couple years ago.

TFA is trying to establish an official last show December 19 at the Moon with Stoogeaphilia.

Texas didn't jump on the blue train. Now, why didn't I see that coming?

Never mind. Here's to the removal of a festering cyst.

Carey and I took the day off from our respective jobs to celebrate anniversary numero four. Went to Mimi's for lunch, Garden Ridge, and grocery shopping. We lead an exciting life.
