A big bottom for the holidays

Went to Competition Music yesterday and sold my drum set and Gretsch. Later that evening I found a nice Epiphone EB-3 on eBay for $270, which will hopefully arrive sometime next week. Hooray!

Night of twiddling knobs

Had a blast playing with PFFFFT! last night. Tony, Matt, Ken, and Clay are all around great blokes, and I thank them for allowing me to join in on the improvisational fun.

The final adieu

The Fellow Americans played at The Moon last night, performing our final show. I was glad that we were able to perform on the same bill with friends, Stoogeaphila. Thank you to everyone who came out!

Tomorrow I'll join PFFFFT! on stage at The Fairmount for their final show, so please and try to make it out. It's free, blast you!

Was Mr. Vidal drunk? After watching former UN Rep/Ned Flanders look-alike John Bolton getting verbally bent over the table (and taking out his frustrations in the manliest way possible by having a go at reporter Katty Kay via satellite link), this interview seemed the perfect piece to wrap up this sideshow of Election Night on BBC America.

Warning: rant ahead

I never had so much trouble with one company as I've had with Bank of America. Dismal customer service (apathetic, rude, and ignorant rabble with a nasty habit of disconnecting the call under the guise of connecting you to another department after being placed on hold for five to forty five minutes), and today I'll add "fraudulent activity" to their M.O. of shittiness after the credit card giant made an unauthorized payment of five hundred dollars from my bank account. I've contacted my bank regarding this ransacking of my meager funds. Hopefully this issue is resolved before the mortgage payment is due.

Once more

After six years in splitsville Blur is reuniting for several shows, including a gig next summer in London's Hyde Park and possibly a headline spot at Glastonbury. Read the full story at The Times Online... if so inclined.

Richard and Judy... and John

A bit of daytime fun from a few years ago on Richard & Judy:

Reset and go

Alrighty then... Back at zero and now can access the internet from home without fear of running up an enormous bill. Thanks, Verizon, for the heads up last month. Pricks.
