The Red Crayola


From their debut Parable of Arable Land (1967). The Red Crayola (later known as The Red Krayola) is Mayo Thompson and whoever else is at hand, which has consisted at various points of time members of Pere Ubu, Lora Logic, and Gina Birch of The Raincoats. Thompson also produced records by The Raincoats, Stiff Little Fingers, The Fall, Cabaret Voltaire, and Kleenex during his stint with Rough Trade Records.

why, mayo 'n' crew make roky and the elevators sound like a bar band or the rolling stones (i.e., a rich bar band)
