A touch of frost

Quite a Thursday it was. By noon we received over six inches of snow at home. I had to get on the barn roof to shovel the white stuff off to keep the said questionable structure (a tin and timber ramshackle monstrosity cobbled together by the previous owners, no doubt in a meth-induced haze) from straining under its weight. Non-stop accumulation throughout the day and night (nine to ten inches the last time we checked at 11:00pm).

As of now, we have been without power for three hours. Since our property utilizes a well, this means that we are also without water. Currently the temperature in the house has not dropped considerably. Hopefully the electrics will be restored soon. Looking forward to being "stranded" at home again today. Carey and/or I will post some pics soon.
