Probably best if you weren't back...

but thanks for the tunes.

Here's a fun(?) fact: RGB played both of these tunes in their "embryonic stage".

Return of the randomness

You've admitted that you don't have a clue and your continual persistence of producing auditory rubbish with that ghastly opening under your conk provides more than adequate proof of your arrogant stupidity. In summary, shut up... and your dog smells horrible.

Allsorts

The computer at the office came down with "electric gonorrhea" on Friday, so it looks like a hard drive scrub-down is in order this coming Monday. Old men, email, and porn should never mix...

Planning to continue Project Will-Probably-End-In-Tears-And/Or-Injury later today. Wax paper and a comb could be Plan B if this droner turns out as a failure.

Some Lorbeer:

And Kleenex:

Raining now. Shave and bed. Maybe just bed.

Mid and latter week, um, thingys

Wednesday: Went to lunch with Mr. Ken at Montgomery Street Cafe, a place I haven't set foot in since 1997. Twas quite good. Had potato soup, grilled cheese sandwich, and cherry cheesecake. Received Small Faces albums (Immediate's Small Faces and Odgens' Nut Gone Flake) in the post, which have been on repeat ever since. Got home. Petted a goat.

Thursday: So far, I have a couple of roofs to measure and a trip to Hill County for a delivery. Also catching a whiff of exhaust from a weed eater. Quite the exciting day...

Wetterday

This Saturday so far? Rain and more rain. Worked on sarangi/ehru thingy and watched Matt Smith's debut as the Doctor, which was fantastic. That's really it, um, really.

The Sex Pistols: A gateway

This post was more inspired by Mr. Ken's revisit of the Small Faces than the "not-so-Artful-Dodger" Malc's demise (which I wouldn't be surprised if turned out to be a hoax perpetrated by him and his pathetic cronies, but I digress). Through the process of discovering the Sex Pistols at the age of fifteen and delving into their environment/influences/aural pleasures, I was exposed to a whole world of rich, diverse music that was new to me... and very exciting. They were the gateway to a journey that still continues for me to this day.

Want a list? Doubt it.

Ranticle

There are more posts on this blog than there are views. There are really only two people who have commented on some of my posts. I really don't see the benefits, then, of a Japanese porn spambot attempting to leach off my little partition of blogland. The comments are now being viewed and approved before I post them, which is just ridiculous since the two people who ever contribute to the blog are trustworthy friends and family. Grrr.

Another weekend synopsis

Saturday: Started the final stage of mixing for the latest JATSDFM release around 11:30am. Received a call from mum around 1:00pm to let me know that she was involved in a minor auto accident. Picked her up in Fort Worth near the body shop and headed to Haltom City to take care of an errand. Stopped by the antiques mall on Denton Highway for lunch. Got home around 5:00pm. Fed horse and let goats out into large pasture. Got back to mixing. Finished album just before midnight.

Sunday: Uploaded tracks from A to E are Ex, Why, and Z to Virb around 2:00am. Left the house at around 8:50am dressed as an Albanian pimp to meet up with Ken and Terry at the Modern Art Museum. Went walking/jogging around 10:00am, during which Ken gave us a highly "imaginative" tour of Fort Worth. Got back to the Modern and started recording inside the Vortex sculpture. At some point several children and their father partook in the performance, which was fantastic! After a while (lost track of time after our pro-cardio trek) the three of us heading over to Dos Gringos for lunch and a beer. Headed home around 2:00pm. Fed horse and let goats out into large pasture (déjà vu?). Took shower. Left with Carey at 5:30pm and went to have dinner with mum and family friend. After dinner, Carey rode her new horse, which she will bring home tomorrow. Got home around 9:00pm.

Conclusion: An excellent weekend. Who can ask for anything more than getting to spend time with good friends and family!

Done!

Just finished the new (and, most importantly, free) JATSDFM album. A to E are Ex, Why, and Z will be available for download only, hopefully sometime this month. I'll keep all of ye informed regarding where and when.

Addendum: The album is now available to download from the JATSDFM Virb page. Sometime this month indeed!

No fool

Even on this day. Maybe.
