Ample ramble

It's been a jolly good couple of days. Got to hang out with some of my favorite people in the world (on Tuesday it was as an unexpected guest due to a schedule snafu) and working on a few projects which I'm pretty excited about. Now, if I could make a million for just enjoying myself...

The HIO bio project is particularly exciting because it entails doing something that I have never done before (sorry, no spoilers!). Ken has, of course, done an excellent job writing a biography regarding this ensemble and I will attempt to contribute an interactive (but what will most likely turn out to be inane) version of our story. Think Spamalot written and directed by Ed Wood... whatever that means.

Another iron in the fire is a new product under the JATSDFM guise. Again, something quite different than I'm used to doing, defined in this context by trying to keep to a common theme. So far, two tunes have been completed. The goal is to have this project wrapped up before the end of this year so I could move on to who-knows-what.

Finally on this "work in progress" list of sort is completing a cliche top ten list regarding albums released in the first decade of this new millennium. This one ranks pretty low as a priority but it's something that I would like to do. Why? Because it's my blog and I'll write whatever I damn well please, thank you... even if it's an entry that only I would enjoy reading.

So, there.
